SHEATHE: Xenobiotic substances and heavy metals in the environment – a threat to health, ecosystems and development in Ghana

SHEATHE is a DANIDA-funded research collaboration between Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, (KNUST), Ghana and Aarhus University, (AU), in Denmark.  SHEATHE  seeks to contribute to a more sustainable management of natural resources, both in the extraction of raw materials such as gold, and in the management of soil, water and air as natural resources by pollution prevention and control.
